Terms of service
Last updated 27 October 2026
These are the rules for using Panzuko, the cooking app, and panzuko.com. By using Panzuko you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to use Panzuko.
- You can use Panzuko as a guest, or make an account with your email, Apple or Google. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account.
Cooking safely
- Panzuko's recipes, lessons and tips are guidance for home cooking. Kitchens have hot pans, sharp knives and raw food, so take care, and use your own judgement.
- Allergies: Panzuko hides recipes that list something you told it you can't eat, but ingredients and brands vary. Always check the labels on what you buy, and don't rely on the app alone if an allergy is serious.
- Follow the doneness cues and temperatures in each recipe, especially for meat, fish and eggs.
Pan's answers and recipes from videos
Some of Panzuko is made with AI: Pan's answers while you cook, the photo checks, and recipes written from videos you share. It can be wrong. Treat its answers as a helpful suggestion, not as professional advice, and check anything that matters, like whether food is cooked through.
What you share
- Photos, stories, messages and recipes you add stay yours. You let Panzuko store and show them as the app needs to: your stories to your friends, your cooks on your profile.
- When you share a video to Panzuko, we write a recipe from it. The video belongs to its creator. If the recipe passes our checks, it may be added to Panzuko's shared recipe library without your name on it (see the privacy policy).
- Only share things you have the right to share, and don't post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or meant to hurt or bully someone.
- We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can block and report people and what they post in the app; we look at every report within 24 hours, and we remove content and close accounts that break these rules.
Fire plans and payments
- Panzuko is free to use. Fire plans add extras and are sold as subscriptions through the App Store (or Google Play). The price is shown before you buy, in your currency.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your phone's subscription settings; it stops at the end of the period you've paid for.
- Free trials turn into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
Using the app fairly
Don't try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer Panzuko, cheat its streaks and leagues, or use it to collect other people's data.
Our part
- Panzuko, its characters (Pan, Gam Gam and friends), art, lessons and recipe library belong to us.
- We work hard to keep Panzuko running and correct, but we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
- As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for injuries or damage from cooking. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
- We may change or stop features. If we make a change to these terms that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app.
